Background:

I wanted to create an infographic for a study guide for one of my classes. My teacher has an exposure square that we need to memorize for all our tests. So, I created this graphic to help aid in studying.

Design Purpose:

I created this image by making an aperture to add interest and make sense of what I was talking about. I wanted a textured background instead of a plain so it didn't feel bland. I added curves on the blue text boxes to add more elements to make it feel less square and have more movement to the piece. I also made the blue text boxes opaque so we can differentiate the text but still connect and see the design behind the elements. Adding color and opaqueness to the text boxes help make the descriptions stand out and make them stand out and be a bit more focused. I wanted more dimension to the center rectangle so I added a drop shadow to help it pop out more and look more 3D. There isn't an order to these, so I didn't feel like arrows pointing each way were necessary.
