The conference will kick off with a series of satellite webinars starting from January 2022, and will culminate with the in-person meeting on 9-10 February 2023 in Bozen (Italy).

I am a member of the IUCN SSC Orchid Specialist Group, a global network of experts who volunteer their time and expertise to build a scientific and practical foundation for the conservation of orchids (Orchidaceae). Since 2022 I am co-chair of the In Situ conservation subgroup.

Scientific Advisor
Project summary
I served as scientific advisor for LIFEorchids (LIFE17 NAT/IT/000596), which was a project cofinanced by the LIFE programme of the European Union to counteract the current decline of wild orchids.
The project involved grassland restoration and orchid reinforcement/reintroduction in selected areas in Piedmont and Liguria(NW-Italy).
