Hi, I'm Jacob Greenspon, an economist interested in research on labour, the energy transition, history, and innovation/productivity. I also regularly publish policy research and other public writing. 

I am currently pursuing a DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Nathan Lane and Noam Yuchtman, which I started in autumn 2022. I previously studied for a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a MA in Economics at Queen’s University, and a BA in Economics and Political Science at McGill University. I have also worked for several years as an economist and research assistant at various think tanks, government organizations, and academic research centres in Canada and the US.
