Hi, my name is Jacob Stokes, I am a Photographer and filmmaker based in Plymouth, working primarily across natural environments and coastal settings in Devon and Cornwall. My practice focuses on capturing authentic visual narratives through photography and video.

A key focus of my work is snorkelling, which provides direct access to marine environments and informs much of my underwater and coastal imagery. This connection to the water drives a body of work centred on marine wildlife, surface interactions, and the visual character of the coastline.

I work across both photo and film formats, combining field capture with post-production editing to produce clean, observational content grounded in natural environments.
