I served as an administrative assistant during the Summer 2026 IU mathematics REU programs; my main role involved organizing social activities and running a LaTex workshop for the students.
The IU mathematics graduate students organize a Peer Mentoring Initiative every year which match incoming graduate students with more senior graduate students into mentee-mentor pairs. I served as a mentor during the 2025-2026 academic year.
I have written problems and served on the exam construction committee for the Alabama Statewide Math Contest for both the 2025 and 2026 contests.
Each August, IU's mathematics department hosts the Jumpstart program, which is an orientation for first year graduate students, and a series of lectures geared toward helping them pass their Tier 1 exams. In August 2025, I led the two analysis sessions for this program. Here are my lecture notes.
