This plugin (originally from y2mate.yt) is considered adware by many sources, and can add many tracking cookies while downloading. Using this with appropriate adblockers (like Ublock) likely will counter most of the dangers. Scam advisors give the plugin page (savenow.to) a score of 58.8/100, and a PSW (Proximity to Suspicious Websites) of 27/100.
