Letter Block
PMI Block
Bandsaw Box
Gluing 5 planks, 2 of cherry and 3 of maple, together to form the layers of the box.
Using a bandsaw to carve out the outer shell of the box.

Image of the outer shell once cut and separated from the drawer.
(The tight curves of the dog-bone shape required multiple relief cuts to prevent breaking the wood as well as the bandsaw)
Gluing the pieces of the drawer back together after carving them out of the block.
(Gluing the pieces of the outer shell back together was easy as there were only 3, but the drawer required much tighter turns on the bandsaw and so had to be cut into more pieces which made it much more difficult to glue back together)
Sanding the outer shell to remove edges and imperfections after gluing the pieces back together.
(This had to be done by hand as using a belt sander would create rough edges on the round arcs of the dog-bone shape)
