About me

Stella and I live in Ladner, BC, where we enjoy the view from our condo's sundeck. We moved here in 2016 after selling the family home.

I am enjoying retirement since 2014 after a career in the forest industry. I worked as a forest engineer on the BC Coast before joining Canada's national forest research organization. I've been writing computer programs since 1973 (anyone remember the HP 9830 and HP 9845?).

I've become more involved with community activities since retirement, joining the board of directors for several organizations. I enjoy photography, especially when combined with travelling in our motorhome.
