The purpose of this assignment is to show and describe the impact that social media has on students and society
My quiz results tells me that i am fairly reliant on social media meaning that i tend to you use it a lot and sometimes rely on it throughout some of my days but it also says that there are worse culprits people that are far more addicted to social media than me but it is still good for me to try and reduce some of my screen time and limit myself on some of the apps that i use .

'Which social media platforms are most common?" Statistics show and state that YouTube and Facebook are the most widely used online platforms . About half of the U.S. adults say they use Instagram, and smaller shares use sites or apps like TikTok , LinkedIn , Twitter and BeReal . WhatsApp is another platform that was climbing the ranks but its just not as popular as the most used ones .
I can agree and disagree on this only because i feel like apps like tiktok and stuff are used more than the others only because of the fact that almost everyone started using it but i do know that the numbers speak for themselves so i can say that i do believe those are the most widely used apps because we use them everyday and sometimes not even for social media purpose .
"Social Medias Impact on Society?" : I Believe that social media has its pros and cons just like everything else, in a positive light social media has been used to communicate and connect with people all over the world being able to stay in touch with your loved ones , can use social media for information . And a negative way that i think social media has impacted society is the anxiety and depression that some people get from it , people getting bullied on the internet and the worse part is they are still going to use it because its addictive and some people feel that they cant live without social media or having that influence so it starts to mess with some people . I think the outcome of how you use social media is solely based on you.
Lesson Learned : in This assignment i have learned what social media does to me and how much it affects my everyday life , i have also learned how much social media has grown and what platforms are being used the most these days but also what downfalls social media can cause . in all i learned that you have to be cautious when using apps and you dnt want to get addicted because it can distract you t the point you don't even notice .
