4-H Parent & Leaders Association

The 4-H Parents and Leaders Association meets every month at the Jackson County UW-Extension Office. The purpose of the Association is to determine county 4-H policies, establish goals, and to plan the annual 4-H program in Jackson County with the assistance of the UW Extension Office.

The group also works to provide a forum for disucssion and resolution of any problems of local clubs and their leaders while looking at ways to further the program in all ways possible in Jackson County. The 4-H Parents and Leaders Association also works to generate financial and other support for Jackson County 4-H programs.

All 4-H youth and adults are welcome to attend our meetings! The meeting schedule is found on the website, along with a brief outline of the topics that will be discussed. We have also provided a list of individuals who we think would have a vested interest in attending each meeting and have listed them as ‘Encouraged to Attend’.

Please be sure to send a representative from your club to EACH Parent and Leaders Association meeting!

Leader to Leader Communication

Another resource that you all have, besides the 4-H Program Coordinator, is EACH OTHER!

One thing that we have created for you is a 'Jackson County 4-H Leader Facebook Page'. This is a networking place for Jackson County Wisconsin 4-H Leaders.

Please use it ask each other questions, post invitations to upcoming events, and to talk with other 4-H leaders (both project and club) in the county. Click on the image below to go to the page.

**Please note that this page will not serve as the main means of communication to club/project leaders from the UW-Extension Office. This is simply for networking and another outlet to get information.
