1- Gravel Road Maintenance
Scrape - Regrading dirt/gravel road for a smoother ride or better drainage.
Gravel - Loose rock fragments used on a dirt road for more grip on a road.
2- Drainage
Culvert Clean Out - Clearing out a driveway pipe stopped up with leaves, sticks, silt, or a combination of all.
Cross Drain Clean Out - Cleaning out a pipe that runs water from one side of the road to the other for drainage.
Storm Drain Clean Out - Cleaning out a drainpipe in a subdivision.
Shoulders Clipped - Grass and dirt on the side of the road sits higher than the road and doesn't allow water to drain into the ditch.
Tail Ditch - Drainage ditch that carries water off of the right of way.
Ditches Pulled - Ditch needs to be cleaned out for drainage.
Rip Rap Needed - Putting large rocks (varies in size) in a ditch to slow the flow of water in a ditch.
3- Cement
Sidewalk Repair - Repair a sidewalk that is broken, sunken, raised, or cracked.
Catch Basin Top Repair - Repair to the top of a manhole that covers up a junction of pipes. Mostly found in subdivisions at the curbline
Curb Repair - Repair a curb that is broken, sunken, raised, or cracked.
4- General Maintenance
Litter Pick-up - Pick up trash on the shoulders(side) of the road.
Edge Ruts - Drop off at the edge of the pavement where people drive off the road, causing a long, narrow hole along the side of the road.
Potholes - Holes in the road that need to be patched (paved road) or filled (dirt road).
Grass Mowing - Grass on the sides of the road that needs to be mowed.
Limb Trimming - Limbs of trees that hang low and close to the road and may scratch or hit a vehicle driving.
Dead Animal Pick-up - Dead animal in or on the side of the road that needs to be picked up.
5- Signs
Sign Replacement - Replace a sign missing, knocked down, or unreadable.
Sign Clearing - Clean dirty, unreadable signs.
Sign Obstruction - Vegetation blocking the view of the sign that needs to be gotten rid of.
Special/Additional Sign Request - Request for a special sign such as Deaf Child, Blind Driveway, or Children At Play.
School Beacon Light Malfunction - Beacon light not functioning properly and needs to be fixed.
Crosswalk Sign Malfunction - Crosswalk Beacon Light not functioning properly and needs to be fixed.
6- Specialized
Sink Hole - Ground on the shoulder or ditch that has suddenly sinks deeper than the surrounding area.
Tree Removal - Removing dead or fallen trees that is on the right of way or pose a threat to falling on the road.
Manhole Cover Replacement - Manhole cover lid is missing from the manhole or broken and needs to be replaced.
Striping Needed - Lines on a paved road are faded or barely visible and are in need of repainting.
Guardrail Repair - Repair messed up/bent guardrail.
