Please find below a list of anything that I currently have for sale. Each item is listed indvidually and then there is a large image gallery at the bottom of the page.
Obviously, nobody would ever find this page by themselves but if I am selling something on Basschat, Facebook marketplace, eBay or similar then I will usually post a link to this page to keep everything together. It's also great for hosting images.
I like to think that I can play fretless but the truth is I can't. In fact I can barely play the ones with frets. But especially I never have a reason to practice fretless because none of the bands I'm in or the music I like would sound right with a fretless.
This is a stunning instrument. Semi hollow, piezo pickup. Over the years Ibanez have changed the woods that they make these from, the new ones use an okoume body, a jatoba and walnut neck and a panga panga fretboard. However the serial number dates this one as being from October 2016, which means it was part of the initial run of basses before they went on sale in 2017. As such this has the more premium mahogany body with a jatoba and bubinga neck and a rosewood fingerboard.
Some cosmetic marks as detailed in the pictures below.
Short scale bass. Very well reviewed and widely accepted as being one of the best budget/intermediate short scales out there. I have actually owned this exact one twice. I bought it in 2012 (I think...) and sold it to a local bass player in 2019. I then bought it back from him last year for sentimental reasons but the truth is that I don't really have a need for a short scale.
Some swirling on the front and some buckle rash on the back.
Boxed, some wear on the pedal itself
Monacor Optogate PB-05e x2 - £75 each Link.
Using optogates live, especially for backing vocalists, was pretty much the smartest thing I ever did. If you don't know what they are, they are an infrared sensor and mic switch. When you walk up to the microphone (you can set the distance) the mic turns on instantly. When you walk away the mic gets muted. It's like a physical noise gate. No fussing with input levels and release times or anything. I have mostly moved over to the metal ones, so selling my remaining two plastic ones. Requires phantom power to switch but not to pass signal, so if you forget phantom power or it breaks then the mic fails safe and is just switched on all the time.
Klark Teknik CT1 Preamp - £15 Link.
Apply phantom power, things get loud. Specifically they get 25dB louder. Great for weak mics like the SM7B or anything else with low output.
Koenig and Meyer Microphone Stand Weight - £10 Link.
I appreciate it looks like a testicle stretcher. But it's actually to counterbalance heavy microphones and the like. It's a 21105-000-55 if you want it's Sunday name.
Millennium PP2B Phantom Power Supply - £15 Link.
Uses batteries or included psu to power up to two phantom powered devices.
Millennium SP31 XLR Splitter - £15 Link.
Mic/Line/DI splitter, anything with an XLR really! One input and three outputs. Passes phantom power if needed.
Pedaltrain Nano x2 - £40 good condition, £30 well used.
Used but fully functional. There's a dent in one of them and they have lived on the floor a lot but they're solid. Come with softcase.
Cioks Adam - £60
Excellent power supply. Will come with a suite of cioks leads as well as the IEC cable.
Cioks Grip - £10
Can be used to help mount Cioks power supplies.
