Hello! My name is Jacqueline Soltmann and I am a certified journeyman makeup artist. Before attending the School of Makeup Effects (SoME) in Totowa, New Jersey, I found my passion for makeup when I was working as a waitress. When I was in the process of being hired, my manager had told me that my makeup had made me stand out so every shift that I worked, I made sure to do some interesting and colorful looks to stand out more. Soon my looks for work became more elaborate until October hit and I began experimenting with character and special effects makeup. I realized how much I loved doing makeup and getting to express myself creatively. After than I switched from my community college to SoME and it was an amazing learning experience. 

My passion for makeup is indescribable and I'm so excited to be devoting my life to this art. Makeup holds power and I want to be able to use my love of makeup to empower others.
