Research

Broadly, I hold an interest in algebraic topology, homological algebra and homotopy theory. This entails the study of topological spaces and algebras through algebraic invariants and their refinements. More specifically, I am interested in homology theories for associative algebras, A-infinity algebras and how to model these using operads. I also hold an interest in homological stability.

I completed my Masters thesis with Professor Mark Powell on group (co)homology and its applications, specifically to homological stability of the symmetric group and classification of crossed exact sequences using 3rd cohomology groups.

I completed my Bachelor's thesis with Dr Andy Wand on low-dimensional topology, specifically an exposition of the proof of Harer's conjecture.

I completed a Summer Research Project funded by the London Mathematical Society with Dr Christopher Athorne on geometric invariant theory in the summer of 2021.
