I am interested in dynamical systems, specifically studying their pattern forming properties and applications to physical and biological systems. My work typically focuses on using numerical bifurcation analysis to study generic structures that organize around high codimension bifurcations.
I am also passionate about teaching and specifically creating an environment conducive to learning through interactive, supportive, and faciliatative teaching. In my teaching efforts, I like to focus on interdisciplinary examples so that students get a deeper appreciation for the material.
