The Iron's House
The Iron's house is a suitcase like carry on used to carry the Irons; The fire axe and the Halligan. It is used to carry forcible entry tools which are designed and used for busting down or in windows, doors, cars and etc. The design is a small and carriable suitcase which carries the center of the tools which allows for easier and safer deployment.
The Halligan bar is used for twisting, punching or prying. It comes in multiple lengths and sizes 18-54 inches as well as different types of metals such as Titanium, Bergilium, copper or Stainless. The Halligan can be used in a combintation of different tools such as an axe, sledgehammer or a Halligan hook.
Axes today are used with plastic handles when used in a fire setting though most modern axes use synthetic materials. An adaptation that is also used occasionally when fire fighting is the Pulaski. The Pulaski is a mix of an axe as well as an adaze. It is an example of simple machine. It splits wood in two parts by the pressure concentration at the blade. Axe's commonly come in different shapes and sizes as well as Material.
Objectives
The Objective of the Irons house was to create an easily accessible and easy way to carry the Irons removing the possibility for the Irons to come apart.
Design Strategy and Testing : The Tool would be preferably need to be used by verified personal using fire equipment as well as having previous fire fighting experience to test how easy it is to carry it. A door is required to effectively demonstrate the effectiveness and use of the tool. There are risks that come with testing this tool such as potential to cut yourself with the axe head which is why the fire gear is required, the possibility of shrapnel which is why protective lens will be used as well as possible excess straining.
