I am a Ph. D. student in Geology and Geophysics at the University of Edinburgh, conducting an ambient seismic noise tomography study of New Zealand's South Island. My research interests include passive seismic imaging, array processing, wavefield scattering and Bayesian inversion methods. I'm also interested in the history of seismology, the philosophy of science, and modern history; and love to ramble through the moorlands or listen to my ECM Records collection.
I am passionate about the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and am determined to apply my scientific skills in nuclear test verification towards a safer, more stable world.
