I am a PhD student in Geology and Geophysics at the University of Edinburgh, conducting an ambient seismic noise tomography study of New Zealand's South Island. My scientific interests include:
probabilistic inference,
signal and array processing,
seismic tomography, and
wavefield scattering.
To the same degree, I am also interested in the philosophy of science, modern history and international relations. I am passionate about the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons towards a safer, more stable world; beyond the PhD, I am determined to apply my scientific skills in nuclear test verification.
Otherwise, I love to ramble through the moorlands, read history books or listen to my ECM Records collection.
