The Lord Is Fighting For Me
"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace..”
Exodus 14:14
Its easy to pre-occupy ourselves in what we read or hear on social media nowadays. As a result we tend to be negative so easily instead of having victorious mindset towards negative situations we will face. But know this, what we always see in our naked eyes is not what we always be in the days to come.
Like Israelties in the midst of the desert. They've been stucked in front of the red sea while Egyptian Soldiers running towards them to kill them. And yet Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord",
It can be a lesson for us, that when we are so hopeless all we can see is negativity but the good news, there is still hope and victory in Jesus and what He has done on the cross.
Friend, just look to Jesus and what He has done instead of murmuring and complaining. Manifestation of victory is always ahead of us because we've been made a beloved child of God in Christ. We are not striving to win the battle in our life's challenges but resting in the complete finished work of Christ. The battle is no longer rest on us but on the Lord.
Today's declaration:
"Victory is assured because of Christ’s finished work.”
Prayer for today:
Abba Father,
Thank You that at the cross the battle has already been won. The victory no longer rests on me but on Christ’s complete work. Teach me to rest my heart in what You have done, trusting fully in Your grace.
In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
