Audio: Alethi Codes of War by The Black Piper
This was our final assignment for my intro to animation class, in which we had to animate a looping walk cycle to music. I used this character because of the several moving parts; the swaying of the cloak, and the swishing of the feather both help imply the movement alongside the arms and legs.
Flour Sack

This was an assignment for my intro to animation class in 2024. Our task was to animate acting and practice character appeal, using a flour sack as our subject. My flour sack kicks at a rock, but loses his balance and bounces backwards. I wanted to challenge myself, so I had my flour sack move back in space, rather than sideways across the screen.Â
Surprise
2024
ToonBoom Harmony; 11 hrs
This was an assignment for my intro to animation class in 2024. We were instructed to animate an egg hatching with some surprise at the end. I elected to turn my egg into a spider-like creature, as I thought managing the legs would be an interesting challenge, and added some slight effects animation with the poofs of dust and eggshells.

Audio: Martin the Warrior, episode 2: The Return of Clogg (2001)
A lip-sync test with a character from my personal project, "A Dream of Wings." Their name is Brush, and they can be found under the Character Design tab of this website. The audio I chose is from the 2001 animated adaptation of Brian Jacques' Martin the Warrior. I chose this audio because the voice is very similar to how I imagine this character to sound, and the line very much feels like something Brush would say.
