About District 18 Memberships:

Anyone wishing to support the J/24 Class and District may register for a J/24 membership. There are multiple levels of memberships but our goal each season is to meet the minimum of 21 "Full Memberships" to receive a J/24 World Championship Berth. The Berth is important for each district to hold to attract more sailors to the local J/24 fleets to keep the competition alive. Even if you are not competitive, a berth can help motivate crew and skippers to purchase or join existing J/24's ensuring you have friends to race against or sail around with for a long time to come.
