J.D. Strunk was born in Boston, grew up in northern Ohio, and has a degree in English literature from the University of Toledo. His fiction has appeared in The Saturday Evening Post, The Louisville Review, The Coachella Review, Palooka Magazine, Soundings East, MoonPark Review, Pithead Chapel, Summerset Review, Fictive Dream, Cumberland River Review, and elsewhere. His work has been nominated for Best of the Net and Best American Short Stories, and he was a finalist for The Bellingham Review’s Tobias Wolff Award for Fiction. He lives in Denver.
