You can use the app without creating an account, signing in, or sharing personal identity details.

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by J.Crew Group, Inc. or any official J.Crew brand. J Crew does not operate as an official retailer and does not process real payment transactions through external payment gateways.


2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not directly collect or store the following personal information:

No sign-up, login, OTP, social login, or registration is required. Shipping details entered at checkout are used only during your active session to display an order summary and are not saved to our servers.


3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide app functionality, J Crew stores limited local data on your device only:

This data is stored locally using Android Room and DataStore and is not linked to a personal account. We do not sync this data to any cloud server.

During an active app session, your shopping cart, wishlist, and favorites are kept in device memory to support browsing and checkout. This session data is cleared when the app process ends and is not uploaded to our servers.


4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

J Crew uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements.

Google may collect certain technical data (such as Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads according to Google policies.

5. Offline Content and Network Use

Most product listings, categories, filters, and app content are available directly in the app.

Internet access is used to load placeholder product images from external image services and to display advertisements through Google AdMob.

Recently viewed products may be available offline through on-device caching. Cart, wishlist, and favorites remain available during your current session without requiring login.


6. Sharing Content

If you use your device's share feature, sharing is handled by your selected apps (e.g., messaging or email apps). We do not receive shared content unless you explicitly send it to us by email.


7. Third-Party Services

J Crew uses Google AdMob for advertising. Product images may be loaded from third-party placeholder image services when displaying product galleries.

Other than AdMob, the app does not use social login, cloud account sync, or official brand integrations.

The app does not integrate with payment gateways or external data brokers.


8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. Ad-related data processing may be handled by Google AdMob as part of ad serving and measurement.


9. Permissions

J Crew requests Internet and network state access to load product images, verify connectivity, and display advertisements through Google AdMob.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location for core features. No account permission prompt is required to use the app.


10. Data Security

Because there is no user account system, there is no personal login profile stored by us.

Locally stored app data (recently viewed products and theme settings) remains on your device unless you clear app storage or uninstall the app.


11. Children's Privacy

J Crew includes kids' fashion categories for general family shopping. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is intended for guest browsing without registration.


12. Your Choices

You may clear local app data anytime:

Settings → Apps → J Crew → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes recently viewed products and theme settings stored on your device.


13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be shown inside the app with a revised "Last Updated" date.
