My culture of learning would involve a lot of failures since the best way to learn is through the mistakes you make. I would give a challenge to kids that may seem at first very simple, like building a bridge. But after they're done, I'll show them the actual weight I'm hoping they can hold. I wouldn't be shocked if most of the bridges broke quickly, but this is where my culture of learning tool would come in. I would take a slow-mo video of the bridge breaking and show it to the kids. We could then observe and discuss what went wrong. Was there a weak spot? Was there enough support? Then we'll build the bridges again, but this time with our observations in mind. We'll then compare to their first design and see how much more weight their bridge could now hold. With this, kids learn that mistakes may be frustrating, but they're how we get better.Â
