Admissions are made on the basis of academic qualifications required and in accordance with the prevailing rules of the Institute. Seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates as per Central Government rules.
All admissions made will be provisional and subject to confirmation of eligibility by the respective College. In addition, any other documentation, if required, by the IYNS has to be procured by the candidate within a stipulated time for the grant of eligibility.
All matters of dispute shall be limited to Guwahati Court or the Courts under whose jurisdiction the Centers are located.
1. A candidate for admission to any of the courses under IYNS has to collect the Prospectus and Admission Form from the office of the IYNS.
2. The Admission Form duly filled in and accompanied by required testimonials.
3. Proper receipt will be issued for all applications for admission received by the office. The application form number shall have to be used as a reference number in all future correspondence.
4. No application for admission shall be considered unless it is accompanied by attested copies of the following testimonials
(i) Mark sheets of all attempts of the Qualifying Examination.
(ii) School leaving/Transfer Certificate.
(iii) Mark sheet of 10th standard Examination.
(iv) Evidence showing date and place of birth.
(v) Certificate of physical fitness in the prescribed Performa.
(vi) Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- each.
(vii) Community Certificate for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe.
(viii) Address Proof, Village Head Certificate.
(ix) I.D. Proof, Photo Certified by Govt. of India
(x) Passport Photo 6 Copies
5. Fees/Charges once paid will neither be refunded nor be transferable under any circumstances. Hence students and their Guardians are requested to go through the Prospectus carefully before taking admission.
