Timeline and Scope of Work

• I will share with you a sketch of the work. During this time you can make suggestions for what you would like changed. Once approved I will begin working on the final piece and will share works in progress if I feel it is necessary or it is requested.

• After the sketch phase, I will not make major changes to the work without additional fees.

• I have a busy life as a student and how long I take on a piece varies. After sharing the sketch, I can give you an estimated time as to when it will be complete. Otherwise, assume that the piece will take a week or so.

  • If something comes up to where the deadline of the completed commission changes drastically or is delayed, I will inform you. I may also give estimated times from time to time.

Payment

• The total price will be given to you after you have filled out the commission form

  • The prices on my commission page do not have the fee included. Square Point of Sale charges a fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents, so if you want to know the price, add everything up plus .3, multiply it by 0.029, and add it all together. That will be the actual price.

• I will only take USD paid through Square. It is available on mobile devices (called Square Point of Sale) and on desktop (https://squareup.com/us/en)

  • I will not take any other form of currency. This includes, but is not limited to, DA points, bitcoin, any other type of dollar, characters/art, etc.

• Please pay for the entire piece before or by the time I have sent the sketch. I will no longer continue to work on the commission until I have been paid. You have 48 hours by the time the sketch is shown to do so.

  • I will not work on any revisions until I have been paid.

• I will issue any refunds after the sketch has been approved.

  • There may be specific circumstances where I do issue refunds after this point. I will inform you if I choose to do so. Please do not beg or demand me to refund you.

Revisions

• During the sketch phase, you may ask for 1-2 major revisions. After this point, I will not do any major revisions without a fee.

  • The fee will depend on how much you are asking me to change.

  • Major revisions include redoing entire sections of a work or phase or repositioning characters (outside the sketch phase. With Procreate, the lineart becomes pixelated if I change the size, angle, etc. and as such, I will have to redraw that entire section. In the sketch phase, this doesn't matter unless it's the final piece).

• During each phase that I share (sketch, lineart, color, etc), you may ask for 2-3 minor revisions. I will not do anymore than this without a fee.

  • The fee will depend on how much you are asking me to change.

  • Minor revisions are simple tweaks to style, lineart, etc.

  • Very minor revisions such as missing an area of lineart/color will not count as these are errors.

• Revisions after the final commissioned piece has been submitted will not be entertained.

Copyright and Reproduction

• The artist reserves the right to:

  • Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc.

  • Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, etc.

  • Modify, edit, and repurpose the commissioned piece.

  • Claim the commissioned piece as their own work.

• The commissioner and other parties may not:

  • Include the commissioned work in portfolios, online profiles/pages, commission sheets, etc.

  • Reproduce the artwork for merchandise such as prints, e-shirt, etc. without an agreement or contract.

  • Modify, edit, and repurpose the commissioned piece.

  • Claim the commissioned piece as their own work.

  • Post the commissioned piece online WITHOUT proper credits to the artist.

    • You can credit me through instagram (__ixla__) or ToyHouse (ixla). If you would like an alternative, please ask and I can provide you one.

  • Mint or sell the commissioned pieced for NFT.

• The artwork is for PERSONAL USE only. Reproduction of this artwork without proper permission or any evidence that the artwork was used for Commercial purposes is considered copyright infringement. The artist retains all rights to the artwork(s).

Other

• I can deny your commission for any reason I choose fit.

• By commissioning me, you agree to all the rules I have listed here.
