Registration and Attendance for IWPSS

    • There will be no registration fee for IWPSS. However we invite you to stay for ICAPS!
    • We will be asking for a voluntary $10 donation to help defray the costs of the coffee breaks.

    • The two day workshop will be held in the Gates-Hillman Center of Carnegie-Mellon University, see 9a and 9B on the following map:

    • Paper presentations:
      • See the schedule for detailed timing.
      • All regular papers are allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and handover.
      • There is NO DEDICATED COMPUTER FOR PRESENTATIONS. If you will not have a computer or presentations please see Steve Chien and your session chair before your session. Ideally we will find one presenter per session and be able to use their computer for presentation. As such please have your presentation handy in standard pdf or ppt on a USB stick.
      • On THU there will be VGA available, on FRI VGA and HDMI.
      • If you have audio requirements for your presentation please contact Steve Chien ASAP. Both rooms will have headphone (mini) audio.
      • There will be WiFi access for workshop registrants directions will be emailed. If you have access to"eduroam" CMU supports that for easy internet access.
    • Registration pickup: please just arrive early on THU to pickup your badge. If you are like me and dislike clip on badges - just bring your own lanyard and the badge will attach.
    • For transport to the conference dinner - please informally organize into groups after the THU session - people with rental cars please offer rides to other participants and I am sure the rest of us can Uber or Lyft. The restaurant location is as follows: Bakersfield Penn Tacos, 940 Penn Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15222 +1 (412) 586-5024 www.BakersfieldTacos.com and the reservation is in the name of "Chien" at 1900h, there is no set menu each can order their own. If they cannot do separate checks I recommend just breaking into groups of 4-6 to make the check division easier.
