Application form and information relevant to the form

Last date for receiving applications: 10 May, 2019.

1. Students applying to participate in IWM 2019 must be postgraduate students (i.e., they must currently be in a Masters/M.Phil./Ph.D. programme).
2. Anyone who wishes to participate in IWM 2019 and is not an invited speaker must fill out the application form below. Apart from Masters/M.Phil./Ph.D. students, we invite postdocs in mathematics, college teachers of mathematics, and members of the mathematics faculty at institutes/universities.
3. Applicants who are students are required to have a referee send us a brief letter of recommendation. In the form below, you will be asked to identify a referee and to provide us his/her contact information. Your referee must e-mail the recommendation to iwm2019iitb@gmail.com. Last date for receiving letters of recommendation: 10 May, 2019.
4. Teachers and faculty members should email a copy of their CV to iwm2019iitb@gmail.com.
5. Selected participants may be eligible for reimbursement of the cost of travel by train. Since we have limited funds, we shall not reimburse the cost of travel by train if the participant has a fellowship from which his/her travel expenses to attend conferences can be met.
6. Provided they have no access to any source of travel funding, students, postdocs and assistant professors are eligible for reimbursement of the cost of travel by AC 3-tier, while participants who are associate professors and professors are eligible for reimbursement of the cost of travel by AC 2-tier.
7. Participation is not restricted to women only. Others are welcome to apply, especially those in the early stages of their careers.
