Two-day regional workshop of Indian Women and Mathematics (IWM) will be held from December 12, 2025 (9:00 AM) - December 13, 2025 (1:00 PM) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The aim of the workshop is to promote larger participation of women in mathematics education and encourage them to choose mathematics as a career.
Who are eligible to apply: The workshop is inclusive of all genders with a focus on female participants. All post graduate students, PhD scholars, and faculty members of various colleges/universities/institutes pursuing a career in the mathematical sciences are eligible to apply. Women experiencing breaks in their research career are encouraged to participate. Preferences will be given to participants from Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
