If your plans to participate have changed, kindly write to us as soon as possible at: iwmdec2022@gmail.com, letting us know that you will not be attending.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL SELECTED PARTICIPANTS:

  1. Please book your tickets at the earliest! Please fill in the google form sent to you on the email address used to register, where you will be required to upload a copy of your tickets. (Not required for local participants)

  2. Participants may arrive earliest by noon on 26/12/22, and leave latest by noon on 30/12/22.

  3. Students who hold fellowships, as stated in their application forms, will not be eligible for reimbursement of the cost of travel (as was stated in the application form). Such fellowships include UGC, CSIR, NBHM, INSPIRE, as well as any other equivalent institutional fellowship that provides funding for contingencies.

  4. Those participants who had stated while registering that they will not require travel support will not be reimbursed the cost of travel.

  5. For those participants who do not have access to travel funding: students, postdocs & assistant professors will be reimbursed up to AC 3-tier train fare by the shortest route on production of tickets, while associate professors & professors will be reimbursed up to AC 2-tier train fare by the shortest route on production of tickets. Please pay attention to item numbers 9 and 10 below for ticket booking guidelines. You will face difficulty in getting your travel expense reimbursed if you don't follow these guidelines. You will need to submit your e-tickets/invoices/Original Bills for processing of the reimbursement claims.

  6. Those participants who had stated while registering that they will not require accommodation will not be provided accommodation by the organizers.

  7. Selected outstation participants who had stated that they require accommodation will be assigned rooms on sharing basis.

  8. The names of participants selected to deliver a contributed talk or to present a poster will be announced shortly.

  9. For those who need travel expense reimbursement, ticket booking needs to be done at least 21 days before their travel date only from one of the following three agencies:

a] Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd. (BLCL)

b] Ashoka Travels & Tours (ATT)

c] Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC)

  1. In case any participant chooses to travel by air please keep in mind the following points: the conference organizers will only be reimbursing up to the train ticket equivalent amount as per the entitlement rules mentioned in item 5 above, provided the air ticket booking is done in the economy class following the rules mentioned in item number 9 above. All the original boarding passes will need to be submitted to IISER Pune office staff along with a copy of the ticket and invoices of the same.
