"Music runs through my blood." he'd always say.
It was quite evident in his thirst for learning new instruments and living his rock star dreams on stage. He'd polished his vocals too to accompany the melodies of his world.
He let the music of his life give life back to music.
Iwin enjoyed the drums. College really allowed him to finally pursue his childhood dream of getting his hands on and performing on a glossy set. With his fellow band mates and friends, he made some sick beats.
Ranging from a few utensils and a bucket to a professional Tama drum set, the beats followed his hands and feet everywhere.
It seems like it was only yesterday when Iwin went for his first keyboard lesson at grade 5. He'd always whined to learn the drums instead but this led to a serendipitous encounter with the ivories.
"It's my bread and butter." he'd always say smiling at his Yamaha PSR.
"I feel like a rock star dude!"
When I heard him exclaim that I knew he'd fallen head over heels for yet another musical instrument. Although he never claimed to be the best at it, he knew enough to woo crowds and lose himself into the music.
