Pooja Singla, is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT Kanpur. Before this role, She held a faculty position at IISc Bangalore. She obtained her PhD from IMSc, Chennai, and did her postdoc at Ben-Gurion University, Israel. Her research expertise lies in algebra, particularly in the representation theory of finite groups and its applications. Since 2014, She has been actively engaged with Indian women in mathematics, contributing to various outreach activities.
Jaya Iyer had her education (BSc, MSc) in Mumbai. She then enrolled at the University of Mumbai to obtain her PhD in mathematics and worked with Professor S. Ramanan at the Tata Institute, Mumbai in Algebraic Geometry. She did postdoctoral studies at the University of Paris6, University of Essen, MaxPlanck Institute, Bonn (1999-2003), and spent a year at IAS, Princeton (2006-07).
She has been at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai since 2003.
Dr. Moitri Sen is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Patna. S earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Calcutta University and PhD from IIT Kanpur. She was a Post Doctoral Fellow at IISC Bangalore before joining NIT Patna. Her research interest lies in Nonlinear dynamics and ecological modelling.
Dr. Saloni is an Assistant Professor in the department of Mathematics, IIT Patna since 2020. Before this, she was a visiting fellow at Chennai Mathematical Institute. She obtained her PhD from IIT Guwahati in 2017. Her research interest lies in the area of Commutative Algebra.
