Instituto Biofisika

Biofisika building is located at the Scientific Park of the Leioa Campus of the EHU in the metropolitan area of Bilbao (Instituto Biofisika (CSIC, EHU) Scientific Park of the EHU, Barrio Sarriena s/n E-48940 Leioa, Bizkaia (Spain)). It can be reached by public transport or taxi from Bilbao city center or the airport.

• From the Intermodal Bus Station

A 20-minute journey separates the Bus station from EHU Leioa Campus  by public transport. Nearby the Intermodal Bus Station (Termibus - Zunzunegi), take the bus A2318 that runs every 20 min at a fixed price of 2,10€. 

A taxi from the Bus Station to the Institute costs between 25-35 EUR depending on traffic (15-minute journey)

• From Bilbao Airport

A 15-minute journey separates the airport from EHU Leioa Campus. Taxis are often immediately available at the exit and cost an average of      25–35 EUR depending on traffic.

• Special Transport Card “Barik”
  
  This card is valid for every transport in Bilbao and in the province of Bizkaia. The cost of the trip with card will be considerably cheaper. You can get this Barik card in the automatic ticket machines in every Metro stations, in Renfe, in the green cabins of Bilbobus and Bizkaibus, and in many commercial premises. This card costs 3 euro and you should recharge it (minimum 5 euro).
