LUCIO MORETTINI
Researcher at the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth – National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES – CNR), Rome Unit. He taken his Phd in Economics at “Sapienza” University of Rome with a research thesis on Economics od Education. His research focuses on higher education policy, research evaluation and impact assessment, effects of university design on job market, high skilled workers’ career dynamics and analysis of new emerging actors on higher education scenario.
He published and served as referee in several international journals and has participated in several European and Italian national projects. Read more
BARBARA GUARDABASCIO
Associate Professor in Economic Statistics and a member of the Business and Collective Intelligence Lab at the University of Perugia.
She is an expert of the Eurostat group Statistical methods and tools for time series analysis, seasonal adjustment, and statistical disclosure control (STACE) since July 16, 2020.
Since 2007, Barbara Guardabascio has been involved in various research projects focusing on economic modeling in both micro and macro contexts. Her research interests encompass economic forecasting, business cycle analysis, and big data, areas in which she has authored several articles in international journals. Her work has also been featured in magazine and newspapers such as Il Messaggero and Il Sole 24 Ore.
ROBERTO LEOMBRUNI
Associate Professor of Economic Statistics at the University of Torino, where he teaches Econometrics, Simulation models and Public Policy Evaluation. He is also Senior Researcher at the LABORatorio Revelli – Centre for Employment Studies and founder of the academic spin-off Metro-Polis srl. He coordinates, on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Health, the development of WHIP-Salute, one of the largest databases for the study of work and health biographies in Italy. His research interests concern the multidirectional relations between health, work careers, retirement and welfare policies, the use of Big Data and ML/AI for scientific research, the use of Agent-Based models and Microsimulation Models for ex-ante policy evaluation, with contributions published in several international journals among which the European Economic Review, Labour Economics, BMC Public Health, The Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
GIOVANNI CERULLI
Senior researcher (dirigente di ricerca) at CNR-IRCrES. He owns a degree in Statistics and Economics and a PhD in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome. His main areas of research are causal inference, program evaluation, and machine learning where he has developed new econometric models and several Stata routines. His major field of application is the economics of innovation although he has contributions also in other socio-economic areas.
He is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics, and coordinator of GRAPE (Research Group on the Analysis of Economic Policies). Read more
ANTONIO ZINILLI
Antonio Zinilli is a Senior Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth (IRCrES). He holds both a Master’s degree and a PhD in Applied Social Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome.
He coordinates the IRCrES School (Rome Unit) on “Data Science: Tools and Methods for Analysing Complex Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Systems”.
His research adopts an interdisciplinary perspective, focusing on the analysis and modeling of knowledge diffusion, innovation dynamics, and research and innovation (R&I) funding systems. Read more
