About Me
I am an Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Prior to that, I was a Senior Economist at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. I also joined the Bank of England as a PhD Research Trainee at the Prudential Policy Directorate.
My primary field of research is money, macro and finance. My current research area looks at the impact of capital regulations on bank risk-taking behaviour and its implications for monetary and macroprudential policymaking — in particular, using the dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) model, Bayesian estimation, and non-linear methods. My secondary field of research is international financial economics, focusing on capital flows and its consequences on small-open economies.
