The forth workshop will take place at the Physics Institute of Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) Maceió-AL, Brazil. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Workshop will be held in a hybrid format. Some in-person sections will take place at the conference room of the Physics Institute of UFAL to allow direct interactions among the participants. Additionally, we will have fully virtual sections. We are preparing the webconference system to provide virtual interaction among participants and broadcast all talks online. Depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic on the forthecoming months, we may have to change to a full virtual format.

In this opportunity, we will gather some specialized researchers to present their latest investigations concerning the quantum low-dimensional spin systems. The main topics of interest include magnetic frustration, magnetocaloric effect, quantum entanglement, quantum phase-transitions, many-body localization, among other related topics, using new analytical and numerical approaches. In addition to leading expert invited talks, we will have sections for oral communications and short communications that allow participants to present their recent contributions to the area.
