I’ve been studying movement since I was 14, beginning with dance, where I trained my eye to notice the subtle details in how bodies move. During my journey as a professional dancer, I imersed myself in countless movement workshops- exploring biomechanics, breath, mindfulness, and the art of human movement. That passion for learning has never stopped; I countinue to study and expand my knowledge to this day.
As a certified Polestar Pilates mentor and instructor, I bring a compassionate, science-based, and heart-centered approach to every session, combining decades of study with lived experience to help people feel stronger, freer, and more connected in their bodies.

After experiencing diastasis recti, hernia surgery with titanium mesh, and postpartum incontinence, I rebuilt my strength and health through Pilates.
Living with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), I’ve learned firsthand how mindful movement and intelligent loading keep the body resilient and strong.
I’ve turned those challenges into wisdom I share with every client: I know how it feels to live in a body that doesn’t always cooperate—and how empowering it is to find healing through movement.
Polestar Education was founded in 1992 by Brent D. Anderson, PhD, PT, OCS, and Elizabeth Larkam, MA, Feldenkrais Practitioner.
