I’m currently a PhD student at the ECE department of University of Illinois  Urbana-Champaign. My advisor is Prof. Richard Y. Zhang. My research is focused on theoretical foundations and practical algorithms with provable guarantees for large scale, non-convex optimization problems.

I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from METU, where I was advised by Prof. Murat Gol (affiliated with PowerLab) and, in my final year, worked with Prof. Ahmed Hareedy (affiliated with Reliable and Efficient Information Systems (REINS) Group).
