Ramon y Cajal researcher at the Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM-CSIC). I obtained a PhD in electronic engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). In 2020, I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual-Fellowship Global-Fellowship (AIforUTracking - ID:893089) to conduct my postdoctoral research at ICM-CSIC and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). My main work is related to underwater target tracking using acoustic-range-only methods and autonomous vehicles, the development of reinforcement learning algorithms, and underwater technology in general. I have been working at the SARTI-MAR research group of the UPC (2011-2020), as an Assistant Professor (Lector) in the Electronics Department of the UPC, participating in different national and international projects, and collaborating with different institutions, e.g., MBARI and the Institut Supérieur de l'Électronique et du Numérique (ISEN).
Skills: in programming languages (Python, C++, and LabView), embedded platforms and microcontrollers, technical software (Pspice, Matlab, Altium, and NX6 3D), and printed circuit board design (manufacturing, soldering, and housing).
