Ivan Ivanchei, PhD

Hi there! I am an experimental psychologist interested in human and artificial cognition. For the last 10 years, I have been studying how humans learn and control their behavior, and what is the role of subjective experiences (e.g. emotions) in it. I published more than 20 scientific works on these topics.  I also communicate scientific research to a general audience and sometimes private companies.  I used to teach a lot, especially data analysis (see some online materials here). 

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium (Consciousness, Cognition & Computation lab).

My main hobby is learning new stuff through personal experience. I also like sports, e.g. basketball and running, as well as outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, cycling, or just chilling in a summer bar.
