Ivan Hu

Hello, my name is Ivan Hu! I am a senior at Staten Island Tech in Mrs. Fusaro's Period 7 "Gods, Monsters, and the Apocalypse" class.  Looking back, the Percy Jackson series was my first form of connection to the broad topic of mythology. Seeing how every phenomenon was represented by a deity was so cool to me when I was in elementary school. As a freshman sitting in the middle table of Mr. Misciagna's classroom during the Summer Bridge Program of 2019, I knew I had to sign up for this class when I will become a senior. I am so glad that this course offers me so many different critical scopes in viewing the elements that define a classical piece of literature.
