1. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of literature from different genres, historical periods, geographical areas, diverse cultures, and/or genders.

2. Research, interpret, and critique traditional and non-traditional literary texts in relation to historical and theoretical frameworks.

3. Instruct and present on literature and theory in a variety of academic, professional, and public contexts informed by pedagogy.

4. Produce scholarly and professional documents that demonstrate strong argument, mastery of critical voice, and a command of discourse and audience.
