Hi there!
I’m Itzel Carvajal, a queer feminist advertising designer from Costa Rica, passionate about building a more equitable world through creativity and storytelling.
I’ve been working as a freelance advertising designer since 2017, with experience in branding, marketing, and illustration. I hold a technical degree in Advertising Design and am currently pursuing my university degree to expand my expertise.
With over three years of experience in communications and social media management in the non-profit world, I’ve developed a knack for crafting impactful messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Being bilingual has also allowed me to work with clients from various backgrounds, infusing my work with a global perspective.
My identity as a queer Latina and immigrant inspires me to approach each project with inclusivity and cultural pride, blending creativity with purpose.
I believe design is a powerful tool for social change, and I’m committed to using my skills to make a positive impact. Here, you’ll find a collection of my work that reflects my dedication to design, advocacy, and storytelling.
Thank you for visiting—take a look around, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to collaborate on something meaningful!
