1. Introduction: Welcome to Egg Tracker. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data you record in our application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
2. Data Collection and Usage: Egg Tracker is designed as a "local-first" application. This means: Personal Information: Any information you enter about your customers (Name, Phone Number, Email, Payment Handles) is stored strictly on your device. Farm Data: Data regarding your egg production, feed inventory, and sales is stored locally in the application's private database. No Remote Access: We (the developers) do not have access to, collect, or store your data on any external servers. We cannot see your customer lists or financial records.
3. Permissions: Egg Tracker requires minimal permissions to operate: Storage Access: Used only when you explicitly choose to "Export" your data to a CSV file or "Import" a backup. Internet Access: Used solely for verifying premium licenses via the Google Play Billing system. No user data is transmitted during this check.
4. Data Security Local Encryption: We use industry-standard encryption (EncryptedSharedPreferences) for sensitive application state and license information. On-Device Protection: Your data is protected by the standard Android sandbox security model, which prevents other apps from accessing Egg Tracker's private database.
5. Data Sharing: Third-Party Sharing: We do not share any user data with third parties. User-Initiated Sharing: If you use the "Export to CSV" feature, the resulting file is saved to your device. You are responsible for the security of that file if you choose to share it via email or cloud storage.
6. Data Retention and Deletion User Control: You can delete any record (egg entry, customer, or sale) at any time within the app. App Uninstallation: If you uninstall Egg Tracker, all data stored within the app's local database will be permanently deleted by the Android system. We recommend using the "Export CSV" feature to create backups before uninstalling.
7. Children’s Privacy: Our application does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since all data is stored locally, we have no way of identifying the age of the user.
8. Changes to This Policy: We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
