Validating Game Files

A member may need to verify their GTAV game files for a variety of reasons, with the main reason being to remove modified game files.

Validating game files varies on whether the user has GTA V installed on Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar Launcher. Below will be the steps for each launcher.

Rockstar Launcher

Open the Rockstar launcher, navigate to the settings and click on GTA V, before clicking Verify Integrity

Epic Games Launcher

Open the Epic Games Launcher and navigate to the library before clicking on the three dots under GTA V, the member will then need to click "manage" before clicking "VERIFY" next to "Verify Files"

Steam

Open Steam and click on Library, click on GTA V before clicking the Cogwheel, and selecting "Properties". The member will then selecting "local files" and "Verify Integrity of Game Files"
