A Christian Consultant (or Advisor) is someone who can help you discover life direction and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. As a Christian Consultant I believe the core of what I do is to help others achieve a better understanding of themselves and God, which is rooted in the Holy Spirit's conviction. Christian Consultants are trained to provide biblical coaching to Christians in a wide variety of difficult and challenging circumstances. I have completed in-depth studies of the bible and will guide you as you would like concerning topics covered within scripture.
As a Christian Consultant, some of the areas I can help you explore, in biblical context, are:
religious exploration
your role in the family and church as defined in the New Testament
interpersonal relationships
family conflict resolution
use of drugs and alcohol
pornography
Here are some samples of services that I can provide.
Let's say you have a job interview coming up and you just can't decide which outfit to wear. We would meet in either Messenger or Zoom, where you would bring in several outfit choices for me to review and give my input on which would be most appropriate. Consider it like asking your husband or friend if it looks pretty, only I will be a bit more objective. Then with my ideas/suggestions, you decide from there. If you would prefer, you could send pictures via email, instead of actually trying them on live, and I could still review them and provide feedback that way.
Maybe you are nervous about the actual interviewing process. Fortunately, I can provide advice on interview techniques as well! We could schedule a mock interview and I would give you tips to help you become more confident and get through the interview with flying colors!
Another instance would be in situations where relationships aren't going as smoothly as you would like. For example you may need help with positively handling a situation with a co-worker, a sister, one of your best friends, or even your UPS driver! Since I am trained in communication techniques and conflict resolution, we could discuss best practices and role play to help you be prepared to handle the situation. As you can see there are many instances in which you could use a life coach.
Examples of Christian Consulting Services
Perhaps you have an area of your life in which understanding what the bible says will be of great importance, or you just want a better understanding of biblical principles. In this situation, I can select some passages for us to study together. I would never just tell you my opinion about what the Bible says, rather, I could tell you where your question is addressed in the scripture and then we could study it together to help you gain a better grasp of what the Bible says about this particular aspect of your life.
So now you know a few of the ways I can be of service to you. And let me tell you how this would work, just like stated before with the wardrobe choice we will meet via zoom, messenger, email, phone, or messaging. Then I will help you with your particular situation.

Life coaching/counseling/coaching is hard work and an individual’s and a couple’s outcome depends on the client’s desire, dedication, effort and motivation. A couple’s outcome is also determined by both individuals’s willingness and desire to be in the relationship. There is no guarantee of an outcome that meets or exceeds your expectations. Now and then we find that a client may attend sessions reluctantly or determine full participation is not for them. Sometimes clients learn things about their situation and decide they would prefer not to proceed with the program. In such cases, clients get little or no favorable results from their sessions. Therefore, the client’s success will be impeded. Many factors will be important in determining your actual results and no guarantees are made that you will achieve your best results. However, the more you put into the program, the greater your chance of success will be. We will certainly do our best to ensure a successful program.

Information disclosed in session is confidential and may not be disclosed to anyone without written permission from you, the client. However, law requires the following exceptions to client confidentiality:
Where there is suspicion or evidence of child or elder abuse
Where there is reasonable suspicion that the client presents danger to self or others, and by court order.
If you are working within a family or couple, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. In working with couples and families, free flow of information is imperative, consequently your facilitator is advised not to hold secrets and will always endeavor to facilitate difficult conversations between parties and do so within legal and ethical guidelines. Your facilitator will work with you to help you achieve your goals, but cannot make any outcome guarantees. Wherever children are involved, we will always assume both partners love their children and want the best for them. It is our policy to adhere to legal and ethical guidelines and absent suspicion of child endangerment, we do not/will not side with or testify on behalf or against either parent.
