I'm Sam Riz!

Hi, I'm Sam Riz, a passionate photographer, graphic designer, and a visual storyteller.

My journey began at the tender age of 12, armed with a humble Moto E4. This early experimentation sparked a passion that would shape my future. As the pandemic hit, I couldn't access professional cameras, so I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and later, the S21 Ultra. These powerful smartphones allowed me to hone my skills and explore the world through a lens.

While I was already making strides in graphic design, my growing love for photography inspired me to pursue it professionally. I enrolled in a prestigious photography program at AUT, where I specialized in general and architectural photography.

My first DSLR, a Canon 250D, was a significant milestone, but I quickly outgrew its limitations. I upgraded to a Sony a6400, but its compact form factor wasn't ideal for my style. Finally, I invested in a Sony a7III, a powerful tool that has elevated my photography to new heights.

This journey from smartphone snapshots to DSLR mastery has been both challenging and rewarding. I'm excited to continue exploring the world through my lens and sharing my vision with others.
