Mini - Project - Study of microstructure and mechanical properties of phosphorus bronze.
The experimental results obtained from the various tests carried out, including tension, torsion, Izodimpact, Rockwell hardness, Testes and microstructure observation, provide valuable insights into the mechanical behaviour and properties of the material underinvestigation. The tension and torsion tests revealed the material's strength and elasticity, while the Izod impact test provided insights into its resistance to fracture under dynamic loading conditions. The Rockwell hardness test provideinformation on the material's resistance to indentation and deformation, and the microstructure observation helped to identify the underlying factors contributing to the material's mechanical properties.
Overall, the results obtained from these tests are crucial forunderstanding and predicting the behaviour of the material under various loading and environmental conditions, and can be used to inform design and engineering decisions for future applications.
