Immersive art is an interactive and experiential form of art that differs from traditional art forms in that it allows for a more immersive and interactive experience for the viewer. With traditional art forms, such as paintings or sculptures, the viewer generally observes the work from a distance. However, with immersive art, the viewer is typically placed in the center of the experience and can interact with the various elements of the installation. This can include things like touching or manipulating the artwork or even walking through it.
Immersive art combines a lot of different forms of art into one experience. There is usually 2D art (painting, etc), 3D art (like sculpture), digital art, interactive elements, light features, music, video, and performance art used to make the audience feel like they are part of the story.
