Dear Colleagues and Members of ItPS,

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees and Council of ItPS, it is a privilege and an honour to welcome the peptide research community to Naples for the Young Researchers Day of the Italian Peptide Society (ItPS), to be held on June 24th, 2026.

The conference will feature oral presentations by the recipients of the Vittorio Erspamer Young Researchers Award and the Carlo Pedone Award for the best PhD thesis in peptide science, both conferred by ItPS. In addition, part of the program will be dedicated to presentations by young ItPS members, covering a wide range of topics, including peptides as therapeutics, bioinorganic peptides, antimicrobial peptides, diagnostic peptides and bioconjugation, as well as self-assembling peptides. Contributions addressing both experimental and theoretical aspects of these fields are strongly encouraged.

The meeting is held under the auspices and with the sponsorship of the European Peptide Society. We anticipate that the exchange of innovative ideas will enhance participants’ experiences, strengthen existing collaborations, and foster new partnerships—particularly among the many young researchers who contribute to the vitality of our community.
